Students of Maharaja Agrasen Model School got the opportunity to visit, showcase their prototype, and pitch their project at the Atal Incubation & Innovation Centre, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University on 20 May 2026. Akshay Bansal and Kaashvi Bhayana represented their project “Sehat Sathee - Automatic Medicine Dispenser” and attended insightful sessions on innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup development.
Earlier, Kushagra Mathur, Vatsal, Akshay Bansal, and Kaashvi Bhayana secured a place among the Top 1000 teams in the School Innovation Marathon 2024–25 with their project “Sehat Sathee.” Sehat Sathee is a smart healthcare companion designed to make medicine management safer, simpler, and smarter. By combining automated pill dispensing, intelligent alerts, and prescription assistance, it helps users take the right medicine at the right time, reducing missed doses and medication errors. Following this achievement, the team was selected for the Student Innovator Program (SIP) , an initiative by NITI Aayog, with sessions conducted by Atal Innovation Mission. The program provided valuable learning in design thinking, prototype development, marketing, branding, financial planning, and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
Ms. Jyoti Sharma and Ms. Mini Agarwal participated in an ATL Sarthi Workshop on Arduino with Artificial Intelligence (AI) held at Rukmini Devi Institute of Advanced Studies (RDIAS), New Delhi, on 16 May 2026.
The workshop introduced participants to the latest advancements in the Arduino ecosystem, particularly the newly launched Arduino UNO Q, which combines a microcontroller with a powerful processor and supports AI, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth capabilities. Experts demonstrated how AI can be deployed on edge devices for applications such as face detection, image classification, anomaly detection, sound recognition, and keyword spotting.
Participants explored Arduino App Lab, a Python-based development environment that simplifies the creation of AI and IoT projects. Several real-world applications were showcased, including object detection, QR code recognition, weather monitoring, air quality sensing, motion detection, and system health monitoring. The session also highlighted educational resources available through Arduino Academy and discussed emerging trends in AI, helping educators identify innovative project ideas for school ATL activities. The workshop was highly informative and provided valuable insights into integrating AI, IoT, and embedded systems into experiential learning, enabling educators to inspire students towards innovation and future-ready technologies.

Maharaja Agrasen Model School actively participated in Mega Tinkering Day 2025, celebrated on August 12, 2025, under the Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog. This nationwide, record-breaking event witnessed the participation of over 4.7 lakh students from 9,467+ schools across India, all engaging in a one-hour live DIY activity.
As part of the celebration, students enthusiastically built DIY vacuum cleaners, gaining hands-on exposure to basic engineering and design concepts. The activity encouraged creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving while reinforcing the importance of experiential learning.
The event served as an inspiring platform for students to explore innovation beyond the classroom and truly experience the spirit of tinkering.

Ideathon 2024 – IIT Delhi
ATL MAMS students participated in Ideathon 2024 held at IIT Delhi with their project “VAANI – VoiceBridge Innovation.”
The project focuses on helping the mute community communicate using gesture recognition and a connected mobile application. The innovation was selected among the Top 100 projects nationwide, marking another milestone in the ATL journey.
On the occasion of the 25th National Technology Day, inaugurated by Narendra Modi, Maharaja Agrasen Model School proudly showcased its young technopreneurs’ project, “Learnxia”—an innovative learning application designed to support children with dyslexia. The project highlighted the spirit of inclusive technological innovation and student-driven excellence.
Among numerous entries from across the country, the project was selected as one of the top 40 innovations nationwide, marking a significant achievement for the school. “Learnxia” received appreciation from attendees and experts alike for its thoughtful concept, practical relevance, and social impact.
The project was developed under the guidance of Ms. Jyoti Sharma (PGT Computer Science), reflecting a strong commitment to nurturing innovation, empathy-driven design, and real-world problem-solving among students.

InSpreneur 3.0 – Singapore
ATL MAMS proudly represented India at InSpreneur 3.0, a global business and innovation summit organized by the High Commission of India in Singapore. Held at Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre, the event provided students with an opportunity to present their innovations on an international stage.
ATL Marathon 2018 – Flood Resistant House
Students developed the project “Flood Resistant House”, addressing challenges faced in flood-prone areas. The project successfully secured a place among India’s Top 50 innovations, demonstrating the growing impact of ATL MAMS.
First TinkerFest – 2018
MAMS organized its first TinkerFest, an annual celebration of creativity and innovation where students presented their projects, collaborated with peers, and showcased their ideas.
ATL Inauguration – September 1, 2017
The Atal Tinkering Lab at MAMS was inaugurated on September 1, 2017, marking the beginning of a journey dedicated to innovation and experiential learning. The lab was established to encourage students to explore technology, robotics, electronics, and design thinking through hands-on activities.
First Innovation – ATL Ganesh (October 2017)
Soon after the inauguration, students created their first innovation “ATL Ganesh”, launched on Dhanteras 2017, symbolizing the creative integration of tradition and technology.
ATL Marathon 2017 – National Rank 1
The project “Smart Tap” secured Nationwide Rank 1 in ATL Marathon 2017, presenting an innovative solution to improve water conservation and sanitation.
The Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) at Maharaja Agrasen Model School (MAMS) was established under the Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, to foster creativity, innovation, and problem-solving among students. Since its inception in 2017, ATL MAMS has provided students with a platform to experiment with emerging technologies, build prototypes, and develop solutions to real-world challenges.
Over the years, the lab has achieved numerous milestones including national rankings in ATL Marathon, international representation, innovation bootcamps, and impactful student-led projects.
