A special assembly was organized to declare and adopt Swatch Vidhyalaya-Swatch Bharat campaign. The principal Ms. Pratibha Kohli ,the vice principal Ms. Simmi Bhatia along with the whole staff and student took an oath to maintain cleanliness all around and achieve the objective of attaining a clean country and a clean world.
An Inter House Hindi Debate Competition was organized for the students of Class IV and V on October 20, 2014.the topic of the debate "Vidyalya Swachhta Abhiyan- Zarurat ya Majburi" was in accordance with the cleanliness drive started by the honorable Prime Minister.It was quite evident that the teams were well prepared and they used various skills like definition, irony etc. to convince the audience. All the four houses exhibited great oratory skills. Nanak House was declared the winner, Vivekanand House bagged the second position and the third position went to Kabir House. The event was adjudged by Ms. Mithilesh and Ms. Shweta Goel.
Pre School organised cleanliness project to enhance the feeling and importance of cleanliness. Children prepared poster on slogan " Swach Vidhalaya Swach Bharat" , teachers prepared the badges for each child on green coloured paper with same slogan on it . The rally was organized to spread the message of cleanliness, all the students helped their class- teacher to clean cupboard, and tables and runners of their classrooms. The students actively participated in the project and enjoy a lot. The children were encouraged to keep their classrooms, their home and surrounding clean.
In accordance with the honourable Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi's "Swachh Vidyalaya Swachh Bharat" campaign, the students of Class I & III did their bit in keeping the school surroundings clean. On October13, 2014 as part of the cleanliness campaign conducted by the school, the students performed the activity with great interest. They were also encouraged to keep them and their surroundings clean. The students were sensitized about the importance of a clean environment and were also motivated to adopt cleanliness as an important part of their day to day life.
As an inspiration from the honourable Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi's "Swachh Vidyalaya Swachh Bharat" campaign, the students of Class IV and V conducted "Shram Daan" on October 4, 2014 as part of the cleanliness campaign conducted by the school. They visited the "Vaishali Vatika" and cleaned it by picking up the waste and putting bio-degradable and non-biodegradable in different sacks. The students were sensitized about the importance of a clean environment and were also motivated to adopt cleanliness as an important part of their day to day life.
To further promote the efforts by our PM Narendra Modi , MAMS organized an assembly based on cleanliness of our school with gautam house. A oath taking ceremony was held in the school by the principal for swachta abhiyan which was taken by all teachers and students. Later on principal ma'am also gave some tips how to keep our classrooms clean and a small quotionare was also held. A small cleanliness drive was also decided in which children had to clean their classrooms, desks and doors. The assembly ended successfully.
