An educational and recreational excursion was organized for the students of Classes VI and VII to Dreamland on December 30, 2025. The trip aimed to provide joyful learning experiences, exposure to outdoor activities, and a refreshing break from routine classroom learning.
The students reached Dreamland in the morning under the supervision of their teachers. The day was filled with excitement as students enthusiastically participated in various activities. Adventure-loving students enjoyed the zip line and giant wheel, which provided thrilling experiences while helping them overcome fear and build confidence. The horse ride was another major attraction that students thoroughly enjoyed.
Students also took part in skill-based activities such as archery, which helped improve their focus and coordination. A lively puppet show conveyed moral values in an engaging and entertaining manner and was appreciated by all. In addition, students explored several other fun activities and enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere of the park.
The excursion helped develop teamwork, discipline, and social skills among students. Teachers ensured safety and proper guidance throughout the trip. By evening, the group returned to school safely with happy faces and cherished memories.
Overall, the excursion to Dreamland was highly successful, enjoyable, and educational, leaving students with lasting memories and strengthening the bond between teachers and students.

Maharaja Agrasen Model School actively participated in Tobacco Free Youth Campaign (TFYC) 3.0, conducted from 9 October to 7 December 2025, to create awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco. A Parents’ Awareness Drive under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan was organised on 4 November 2025. A Poster Making Competition for Class VIII on 11 November 2025 witnessed participation of 180 students, while a Slogan Writing Competition for Class VII on 12 November 2025 saw 150 participants. The campaign successfully sensitised students and parents towards adopting a healthy, tobacco-free lifestyle.
Maharaja Agrasen Model School celebrated Maths Week from 22 to 27 December 2025 with great enthusiasm and active participation from students of various classes. The celebration aimed to highlight the relevance of mathematics in daily life while strengthening students’ problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, creativity, and teamwork.
A range of engaging activities was organised across classes. Class IV students created figures using different shapes to understand basic geometry, while Class V designed colourful geometrical rangoli patterns. Class VI expressed concepts through fractional art and Class VII prepared informative posters on the use of mathematics in everyday life. Class VIII explored the Hardy–Ramanujan number, sparking curiosity in number theory. Class IX demonstrated mathematical properties through interactive activities, and Class XI students participated in a Maths Olympiad.

A one-day training programme for School Nodal Teachers on the Tobacco Control Programme and Prahari Club was attended on 11 November 2025 at SKV, C-Block, Sultanpuri, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The programme was attended by Ms. Ritu Rohatgi.
The training focused on the objectives and implementation of Anti-Drug Clubs named “Prahari Club” within schools. The resource persons clearly explained the role of Prahari Clubs in creating awareness among students about the harmful effects of tobacco and substance abuse.
Detailed guidance was provided on conducting age-appropriate awareness activities and initiatives for students at different levels. Practical strategies to engage students, promote healthy lifestyles, and encourage preventive education were also discussed.
The session proved to be highly informative and enriching, equipping the participants with valuable knowledge and tools to effectively implement tobacco control and anti-drug initiatives in their respective schools.

CBSE conducted the Aryabhata Ganit Challenge (AGC) 2025 with the objective of motivating students to achieve higher levels of mathematical understanding and proficiency, encouraging them to think critically and push their intellectual boundaries.

A total of 465 students from Classes VIII to X enthusiastically participated in the school-level round. The students attempted a multiple-choice question paper based on various mathematical concepts prescribed by CBSE.

On 4 December 2025, the State Level English Slogan Writing Competition was held at GGSSS, Tilak Nagar. The theme of the competition, “Air Pollution”, aimed to create awareness and encourage students to express their thoughts creatively through impactful slogans.
Representing our district, Anshika Singh, the winner of the district-level round, participated in the competition with great enthusiasm. She showcased her creativity and environmental awareness by presenting powerful slogans that highlighted the urgent need to control air pollution and protect the environment.
The event witnessed active participation from students across various districts of the state, each presenting unique ideas and messages focused on environmental conservation. A total of 313 students, accompanied by 20 teachers, participated in this exciting outing. Maharaja Agrasen Model School proudly hosted the Prize Distribution Ceremony for the academic session 2024–25 on 1st November 2025 in the Seminar Hall. The ceremony began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by captivating cultural performances including Guruvandana, Natkhat Krishna dance, and a melodious presentation by the school band, Octave. The Inter-Class Innovation Fiesta 2025 was held at Maharaja Agrasen Model School on 29th November 2025 for Class IX students, celebrating creativity, collaboration, and sustainability. As an initiative by the Delhi Traffic Police, a Defensive Riding Workshop was conducted at Maharaja Agrasen Model School, Pitampura, on 24th November 2025 for 180 students of Class VIII. Led by Mr. Deepanshu Rathore, the session focused on road safety and responsible riding practices. Students were made aware of major causes of two-wheeler accidents, traffic signs, and essential safety measures such as helmet use, vehicle checks, and emergency preparedness. The workshop aimed to instill discipline, awareness, and caution among young learners to promote safer roads.
A team of 51 students accompanied by two teachers from Maharaja Agrasen Model School participated in the Inter-School Drawing, Painting, and Craft Competition held at MM Public School on 25th November 2025. The session encouraged educators to rethink conventional teaching methods and embrace AI-driven, student-centric learning. Linking Albert Bandura’s stages of learning with modern technology, the resource person introduced innovative AI tools to enhance classroom engagement. Practical strategies like flipped learning and differentiated instruction were discussed, inspiring teachers to integrate AI while preserving the human essence of education.
Maharaja Agrasen Model School organized a career guidance workshop on Stream Selection and Emerging Careers for Class X students on 30th October 2025, conducted by Pratham Institute. The session guided students on choosing the right stream—Science, Commerce, or Humanities—based on their interests, aptitude, and personality. As part of the Winter Action Plan 2025–26 to mitigate air pollution in Delhi, Maharaja Agrasen Model School, CD Block, Pitampura, organized a Sapling Plantation Drive on 9th October 2025. Biology students of Class XII actively participated by planting saplings in the school’s Botanical Garden. Various angiospermic plants such as Peepal, Banyan, Gulmohar, Tulsi, and Curry Leaf were planted, highlighting their ecological and economic importance. In accordance with CBSE Circular No. Acad–76/2025, Maharaja Agrasen Model School, Pitampura, observed National Cyber Security Awareness Month in October 2025 under the theme “Cyber Jagruk Bharat.” A range of engaging activities including cryptography sessions, cyber quizzes, assemblies, workshops, and board displays were organized to promote digital safety and responsible online behaviour. A Talent Hunt program was successfully organized for Class VII on 5th August 2025. The event aimed to provide a platform for students to showcase their unique talents and boost their confidence. The students enthusiastically participated in various categories, including dance, playing musical instruments, photography, mono-acting, poem recitation, storytelling, best out of waste, modern art, and folk drawing.
Each performance reflected creativity, dedication, and originality. Dancers mesmerized the audience with graceful movements, while instrumentalists displayed impressive command over their instruments. Budding photographers presented striking images, and mono-actors captured emotions vividly. Poem reciters and storytellers captivated listeners with expressive narration and voice modulation. The best out of waste section highlighted students' innovation in turning discarded items into useful or decorative pieces. The modern art and folk drawing segments revealed students’ artistic flair and cultural appreciation.

The Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2025–26 was held with grandeur and solemnity on August 8, 2025 at Maharaja Agrasen Model School, CD Block, Pitampura, Delhi. The ceremony marked the formal installation of the newly elected Student Council, instilling in them a sense of responsibility, leadership, and service.
The event commenced with invoking divine blessings for a purposeful journey ahead. Principal Dr Pratibha Kohli and Vice Principal Dr Pushpendra Singh addressed the gathering, inspiring the students with their words on leadership, discipline, and dedication. They emphasized the importance of leading by example and upholding the values of the institution.
The highlight of the ceremony was the formal announcement of the newly appointed office bearers. Vidhi Jain was sworn in as the President, Gitali Rajdev assumed the post of Vice President, and Virat Gupta took over as Secretary. The esteemed positions of Head Boy and Head Girl were conferred upon Yuvansh Garg and Neha Arora respectively.
A symbolic moment of the event was the handing over of the school flag by the outgoing Head Boy and Head Girl to the newly appointed ones, signifying the transfer of responsibility and leadership.

Maharaja Agrasen Model School commemorated the 79th Independence Day of India with great dignity and patriotic fervour on 14 August 2025. The celebration began with the hoisting of the National Flag and the rendition of the National Anthem by the school band. Patriotic songs, the school song, inspiring speeches by the Head Boy and Head Girl, and a self-composed poem added depth to the programme. Students from Grades I to III presented an energetic action song, while the prize distribution ceremony acknowledged student achievements. Vibrant Janmashtami performances by the four houses enriched the cultural segment. The Har Ghar Tiranga 2025 campaign was celebrated with great patriotic fervour by the students of Grade X at MAMS on 12 August 2025 as part of the Independence Day celebrations. Various creative and participative activities were organised by different sections, including Tiranga-themed rangoli making, flag hoisting at home, a spirited campus rally, patriotic board decoration, and an online Tiranga Quiz on the MyGov platform. The activities successfully instilled respect for the National Flag and strengthened values of unity, pride, and patriotism among students, making the celebration meaningful and impactful.
On Friday, August 07,2025 ,two students from Class XI visited the Indian Islamic Cultural Centre, Lodhi Road, to participate in the Inter-School Quiz Competition. The students showcased their knowledge and competitive spirit in the preliminary round.
The students participated enthusiastically in the quiz competition, demonstrating their understanding of the topic. Although they played well in the preliminary round, they were not selected for the finals.
Despite not making it to the finals, the students gained valuable experience and exposure to the competitive environment. They interacted with students from other schools, broadening their perspectives and understanding.
The visit to the Inter-School Quiz Competition was a valuable learning experience for the students of Class XI. It helped them develop their critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
National Library Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in the school on 12 August 2025. The event featured engaging performances by students of Classes IX and XI, including a meaningful skit on the importance of libraries and a thought-provoking poem recital by a Class IX student. The programme also included the Thought of the Day and Pledge, setting a reflective tone. Students from Classes III to VIII actively participated in creative and literary activities, showcasing their artistic and writing skills. The celebration successfully highlighted the value of libraries and inspired students to develop a lifelong love for reading and learning.
Maharaja Agrasen Model School, CD Block, Pitampura, hosted Van Mahotsav 2025 and MAMS MUN 2.0 on August 1 and 2, 2025. The event themed Sustainable Future through STEM highlighted the urgent need to address climate change and ecological imbalance by encouraging students to explore sustainable solutions through science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
A wide range of competitions engaged students from pre-primary to senior secondary levels. The youngest participants moulded ocean scenes in clay, while Classes I and II created imaginative Geo-Jungles. Class III students brought colour and creativity through Nature’s STEM Parade, and Classes IV and V expressed their ideas in a Poster Making Competition. Middle school students took part in भाषण वाचन: वन संरक्षण में भूमिका and Dance on any SDG, while Class VIII participants designed STEM-based models in Opti Future. Classes IX and X tested their engineering skills with a Paper Bridge Activity, and senior students from IX to XII showcased innovation in Innovate for Earth: STEM Challenge and Tech for Earth: Sustainable IT Solutions – Pitchfest. The highlight of the fest was MAMS MUN 2.0, where delegates engaged in insightful deliberations on global issues.
The event also marked four decades of the school’s commitment to nurturing young minds, shaping futures, and inspiring responsible citizenship. With enthusiastic participation from schools across Delhi, the fest was a grand success. The Best School title was awarded to Indraprastha World School, Paschim Vihar, for their outstanding performance across multiple events.

The CBSE STEM–DLD Expert-Led Workshop was held on 21 August 2025 at Mahavir Senior Model School, Rana Pratap Bagh, Delhi, bringing together educators from over 40 schools. The workshop began with a spiritual invocation and cultural performances, setting an inspiring tone. Ms. Anita Sharma explained the relevance of prime numbers in daily life, highlighting their role in cryptography and cyber security. Our Principal, Dr. Pratibha Kohli, presented a thought-provoking session on STEM as an interdisciplinary tool for societal transformation, urging teachers to nurture curiosity and critical thinking. Dr. Amit Bhattacharya shared inspiring stories of Indian scientists and their groundbreaking contributions. Overall, the workshop was enriching and highly motivating for all participants.
The Twinning – Cultural Exchange Programme for Grade VI was organised on 18 August 2025 at Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Pitampura, under Samagra Shiksha with the theme “Twinning is Winning.” Thirty students from Maharaja Agrasen Model School participated alongside government school students in sports, art, cultural activities, and presentations. The programme provided valuable exposure to diverse learning environments and encouraged interaction, teamwork, and cultural appreciation. MAMS students performed commendably, winning prizes in art, dance, and fun games. The event successfully promoted inclusivity, collaboration, and holistic development among students.
National Deworming Campaign was scheduled to be held from August26, 2025 to September 4, 2025 under the guidance of Directorate of Family Welfare, GNCTD. The campaign involved the administration of a single age-appropriate dose of Albendazole to all children and adolescents. As a part of the Campaign, age-appropriate dose of Albendazole was administered to all eligible students on August 29, 2025 after the recess. As per the circular issued by the Directorate of Education, the drug Albendazole was administered to 1352 students in the school. The Mop Up Day for the left out children was observed on September 3,2025 and 148 children were dewormed on that day. The campaign was successful and the report was shared with the concerned authority.
A detailed workshop on Understanding and Preparing for CUET was conducted by IMS on Friday, 22 August 2025. The session familiarised students with the CUET structure, updated 2025 exam pattern, marking scheme, and subject selection guidelines. Emphasis was laid on using NCERT books as the primary preparation resource and understanding the competitive nature of the exam. The workshop also highlighted common reasons why few students reach top universities and motivated learners to begin early, stay informed, and prepare strategically with confidence and clarity.
On Saturday, August 2, 2025, Ms. Neha Vij and Ms. Daisy from our school actively participated in the STEM DLD Programme held at Venkateshwara Global School, Rohini. They presented an insightful case study on “Measuring Lung Capacities and Volumes” wherein they highlighted the importance of respiratory health, especially in the context of rising pollution levels in metropolitan cities. As part of their presentation, they showcased the design and working of a Spirometer and demonstrated how data collected through the device could be analysed and interpreted to assess lung functions.
Their presentation reflected a perfect integration of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM), encouraging innovative thinking and problem-solving among students. The session was well-received and appreciated for its practical approach, analytical depth, and educational relevance.

In line with the school’s ongoing commitment to health and nutrition awareness, Maharaja Agrasen Model School organized a workshop titled "Awareness on the Dangers of Ultra-Processed Pre-Packaged Foods and Label Reading" for Class IX students on Thursday, July 10, 2025 and for staff members on Wednesday, July 02,2025
The session was conducted by Ms. Reema Dutta, a well-known nutrition educator, who highlighted the growing concerns associated with the consumption of ultra-processed and packaged foods. She explained how such foods are often high in hidden sugars, unhealthy oils, excessive salt, and harmful additives. Students were educated on how these ingredients contribute to lifestyle diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and heart problems from a young age.
An engaging label-reading activity was also conducted, where students examined real food packages to identify misleading health claims and understand how to read nutritional information panels and ingredient lists correctly. The workshop encouraged critical thinking and empowered students to make healthier food choices.
As a follow-up initiative, Oil and Sugar Awareness Boards were set up on the school premises. These boards serve as visual learning tools, displaying the hidden oil and sugar content in commonly consumed packaged foods and beverages. They will be updated regularly to reinforce healthy eating habits and increase daily awareness among students, staff, and visitors.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A segment where students and teachers clarified their doubts and pledged to adopt healthier dietary habits. The workshop was highly informative and received with enthusiasm by the students and teachers alike.
A seminar on “Awareness about the Dangers of Pre-Packaged Ultra-Processed Foods and the Importance of Reading Labels” was held on July 2, 2025, at Maharaja Agrasen Model School, Pitampura, for teachers. Conducted by NAPi-India and BPNI and coordinated by Dr. Nupur Bidla, the session highlighted ultra-processed foods, their health risks, and methods to read food labels critically. Through presentations, hands-on label-reading activities, and an interactive Q&A, teachers gained practical insights to promote healthier food choices and lifestyles.
Maharaja Agrasen Model School celebrated IT Week 2025 from July 21 to 25 with the theme “Friendly AI.” The objective was to introduce students to the world of Artificial Intelligence in an engaging, ethical, and student-friendly manner.
Throughout the week, students from Grades 4 to 12 participated in a variety of hands-on and creative activities. Highlights included AI Buddies (story creation with AI helpers), Step Sync AI (AI-generated music and dance), Tune with Tech (music composition using AI), Funfinity AI (AI-based games and challenges), Futurescope AI (real-world AI applications), and GitSetGo (coding and GitHub-based collaboration).
A special feature of the week was the alumni-led workshops held on July 23. Mr. Samyak Jain introduced students to GitHub and collaborative coding, while Ms. Ekta Agarwal conducted an engaging session on Augmented Reality using Lens Studio GenAI.

On 26th April 2025, ATL Community Day was celebrated at Bal Bharati Public School, Rohini. Two students from our school, Himanshi and Khushi of Class IX, accompanied by teacher Mrs. Rekha Jain, participated in the event. The highlight of the day was a workshop on Artificial Intelligence, designed to give students an engaging and hands-on introduction to the world of AI.
The workshop began with an insightful session on the basics of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. This was followed by a live demonstration of a Bionic Arm, showcasing how AI can control robotic movements. Students then took part in an interactive activity where they created their own DIY Finger Counter, helping them understand sensor technology and its integration with AI.
Another fascinating part of the workshop was the segment on drones. Participants learned about the structure and function of drones and witnessed a live demonstration, which captivated everyone’s attention. The session was not only educational but also sparked curiosity and innovation among students.
